Baskets. Or nothing. I’m not giving them money for Easter.

Money?! Wtf. Who gets money for easter?

My family has a super awesome Easter egg hunt that we all participate in. The top egg has $20 in it, but most have quarters, mini alcohol shots, chocolates, etc. That's what we moved to when there weren't kids anymore.

Don’t the twenty and the quarters count as money?

Everyone gets a basket with the obligatory candy and warm weather goodies.

However, hidden eggs with money/lottery tickets/gift cards are all fair game.

Easter baskets and hunts are for little kids. We buy chocolate but, that's it. Easter is not Christmas so no money either!

OP asked about MS and HS kids.

I have a MSer and a HSer and quite honestly I'd be thrilled to just give them money and not be bothered. But they let me know that they'd really like to look for eggs, and would like baskets. And because I'm Sucker Mom, I'll do it.

Baskets will have candy and some toiletries (for DS some "manly" shower gels, hair gel, etc. for DD bath bombs, face masks). Then I get $1 bills and fold them up in those plastic eggs and hide those around for them.

We’ve done baskets with small cosmetics, cute socks, inexpensive jewelry and doodads in plastic eggs. A couple $5 gift cards is fine. And, of course, candy.

Baskets with age appropriate things inside: gas cards, Starbucks, small gold stud earrings, iPhone XR, etc

Teen daughter gets a basket with spring sleepwear and one new spring outfit. She has taken over hiding the eggs and we seek them.

You guys still give baskets to kids in MS and HS? Interesting, I guess I'm in the minority. I say give them nothing.

WTF, you give this for Easter. What kind of gifts do you give on Bdays and Christmas? Damn, can I be your kid? lol

My teens like chocolate and are very nostalgic. They get baskets with the things they have always gotten. They are also entirely happy to hunt for eggs and wear bunny ears for photos.
