I'm looking at getting a 2015+ to have a 7-seater that can tow. It checks all the boxes, the only non-starter is potential reliability problems.
Is the reliability as poor as you read? I'm not sure whether it's actually an unreliable car, or if you only read about the bad experiences and everyone who's happy with their Tahoe doesn't write about it. |
| We have a 2013 with 100k miles on it and other than changing the oil and tires have not spent a dime on repairs |
| Tahoe or Suburban? They are different vehicles. One is bigger. |
| DH is on his second Tahoe. It has around 85k miles and has had zero issues. He’s planning on buying a new one soon and claims he’ll never drive anything else. |
thanks captain obvious. Same powertrain, same electronics, same interior/exterior materials so from a reliability standpoint they are going to be the same car. |
| anyone else have Tahoe experiences. Been researching and so far the Tahoe is my first choice. Looking to buy used 2016-2017 with captain chairs. |
Do you guys have 5 kids? |
I had a 2016 Yukon with captains chairs (Denali trim line), which is the same car. So many problems. Even Koons was surprised. Sold it with 30,000 miles on it recently. So happy to have gotten rid of it. |
We have a 2014 Suburban. One kid if it matters. No issues at all. Great truck |
