Favorite Staycation Ideas?

I have the following planned:

Brunch at Wharf - which is most kid friendly?
Walk around Georgetown and go to laduree
Air and space museum
Old town Alexandria mirror exhibit
Zoo

What else are your favorites?

7 and 9 plus a toddler.

Did not know air space was being renovated.

Great Falls either side. Md side you can walk to the look out and back. VA side you can do the lookouts and do a short hike through the woods part. Its about a 30 min look. Not sure how old your toddler is, my kid could do the hike at 3.

Which one? Or are they both under renovation? I prefer the one out by Dulles, so if that’s not being renovated then I’d definitely go there.

Depending on how old your toddler is, you could do the secret door tour at the Mansion on O street. It would only work if you could put him in a carrier because otherwise there's way too much stuff s/he could get into.

Air and Space by Dulles is completely open. The one on the Mall is under revo but still open enough for an hour+ visit

To the above list, I’d add ClimbZone Laurel. Unique rock climbing + bounce houses for your toddler.

Could also do a movie. My 5 and 7 yo loved Hos to Train Your Dragon
