I have the following planned:
Brunch at Wharf - which is most kid friendly? Walk around Georgetown and go to laduree Air and space museum Old town Alexandria mirror exhibit Zoo What else are your favorites? |
Luray caverns |
air and space is under renovation...best to avoid.
What age are your kids? |
7 and 9 plus a toddler. Did not know air space was being renovated. |
National Harbor
St James has an indoor water park (but very expensive) Udvar-Hazy |
Great Falls either side. Md side you can walk to the look out and back. VA side you can do the lookouts and do a short hike through the woods part. Its about a 30 min look. Not sure how old your toddler is, my kid could do the hike at 3. |
Which one? Or are they both under renovation? I prefer the one out by Dulles, so if that’s not being renovated then I’d definitely go there. |
Depending on how old your toddler is, you could do the secret door tour at the Mansion on O street. It would only work if you could put him in a carrier because otherwise there's way too much stuff s/he could get into. |
Air and Space by Dulles is completely open. The one on the Mall is under revo but still open enough for an hour+ visit
To the above list, I’d add ClimbZone Laurel. Unique rock climbing + bounce houses for your toddler. Could also do a movie. My 5 and 7 yo loved Hos to Train Your Dragon |
