40 yo here with great numbers, had one PGS tested embryo transferred. First beta was 170, second 390 and third, today, 220. I am devastated. Nothing else was PGS normal so I have no frozen embryos. This is was not my first attempt at IVF. Pondering as what to do next. Has anyone had a falling beta that resulted in normal pregnancy?
I’m so sorry. I would prepare yourself for a m/c.
So sorry. PGS isn’t 100%, but it feels like it should should be. Especially over 40.
I've heard of stories before where numbers went up again, but it was when two embryos were transferred (probably both initially implanted, but one was lost, causing a drop). Since you only transferred one, it's most likely not good news. I'm so sorry if you do get bad news.
I am so sorry, this is almost certainly a miscarriage. So much love to you.
