My friend who lives in Crystal City at the time literally saw the plane hit the building with her own two eyes. There were tons of eyewitnesses!I don't get how this is a thing.

I disagree, a lot of immigrants vote conservative. Conservative on abortion and gender issues, receptive to the self-made American success story mythos, and very responsive to any suggestion that Democrats are "communists."

I think the respective party positions are primarily culture wars stuff and secondarily economic.
