| Such great posts and interesting choices and majors. Kinda makes me wish I was 18 again. |

Notre Dame Vanderbilt UVA W&M DD is seeking social environment/sports, but not at all focused on Greek scene. Major undecided but likely something in liberal arts/humanities. |
Notre Dame or BC depending on how Catholic she wants the campus vibe to be. Vandy and UVA are heavily Greek, and W&M sucks for sports. |
W&M |
Family member went to Vandy and I didn’t get sense from them it’s heavily Greek |
Highest Greek participation rate in the SEC. |
Interesting list. Your DC should consider where they want to live post-grad because degrees from these schools will be highly regarded within their immediate community. I know that from my own experience living in San Diego (USD), LA (Loyola Marymount) and Denver (UD). |
Amazing options ... I pick Notre Dame! |
That's nonsense. I have a kid at Vanderbilt. Greek life these days is a pretty small part of campus life. It's not remotely comparable to Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia etc. |
Notre Dame |
UGA |
I mean, it's a verifiable fact that Vandy has the highest Greek participation in the SEC. You can argue about the effect that has on the social life on campus, but it's a fact. |
Any reason? |
Many of these schools are on my S25's list. Do you mind sharing stats and if you got any merit? Thank you! |
Vanderbilt has Greeks, but I wouldn’t say it’s “heavily” (it’s less than 1/4 I think) and the admin has been taking subtle and not so subtle steps to marginalize them. Established residential colleges etc. |
