MYHA travel hockey

My son will be a Bantam and is interested in trying out for travel. Can anybody tell me about their experiences? How much did you end up spending for the year? How many practices and games a week? Thanks for any info!

FYI he Bantam selects is a great mix. More of a travel light schedule embedded in the house program. Tryouts are in the fall.

I think this document may be pretty significantly out of date (note references to the Capital Beltway Hockey League, and not the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League and the reference to checking being allowed at the PeeWee level, which hasn't been true for at least 4-5 years). In general, the club fees are probably in the $2500-$3500 range.
