This was on Twitter from a former D.C. media person:
— Police are using a helicopter to search the area where CHANDRA LEVY's body was discovered for CRITICAL MISSING PERSON Melanie Sabo near Broad Branch Rd and Brandywine St NW-DC. Sabo was on the jury and may be in the area. — Pretty strange. I saw the critical missing person alert from DC Police but didn’t know about any Levy connection. |

What wait - is this tweeter legit? How does he know these two pieces of info? Seems unlikely MPD would use a helicopter to search from someone at night in Rock Creek Park unless they have infrared but if she disappeared from downtown why would they be looking in RCP for her - she just disappeared today.

| The guy who tweets is a journalist who monitors DC area police radios for a living basically so he may have some insight, but I agree it’s a pretty crazy story. |
The MPD helicopter has a FLIR system that can detect people or other warm blooded animals by their body heat. It's perfectly reasonable to use such a system for someone in the woods in darkness. |
| Virtually everything I’ve seen Henney post turns out accurate |

Missing person was found.

+1 Henney is far more credible than both the police PIO's and the media. I've known him almost 20 years. The guy is single-focused on news/information gathering to the extent that's only possible with ASD / Aspergars. His Aut is strong, and he uses it. |
