Federal court blocks Medicaid work requirements approved by Trump administration

Anonymous
A federal judge had blocked the Medicaid work requirements in Kentucky and Alabama, finding the federal approvals for those work requirements to be “arbitrary and capricious,” and telling HHS it needs to review future requests with an eye toward the burden on poor people who depend on Medicaid for health care. Six other states have already received approval work work requirements and seven more are awaiting approval, and this ruling could upend all of it, throwing a wrench in Trump’s plan to gut Medicaid.

Not really. What Trump learned in 1.0 is that while he can’t cut Medicaid he can make it impossible to get benefits. Trump 2.0 is all about using the government against its citizens. Bury it in bureaucracy, which is ironic because Jorge was supposed to make government more efficient.
