I'm a little concerned, which had me up 1/2 the night worrying.
My son, who seems in and out of good spirits, is sick. Yesterday I had to run into to Target to pick up something and as we walk in the door, he immdiately stops and vomits all over the place. We then proceed home, he is unusally quiet the entire ride and he doesn't want to eat dinner. I gave him a Eddy's frozen bar as I though he might have a sore thoat. He ate a little bit then off to bed for the night. I heard him coughing in the night and this am. He has had a fever for about 99.1-100.1 the past couple days, which I've treated by rotating tylenol/motrin. Oh yeah and he has very very dirty nose. I myself feel a lot like this, with the cough and sore throat, but I have no fever, nor vomitting. When I was with my OB on Monday she took a swab of my throat and told me if I got a fever to call immediately as they'd give me Tamiflu. I reminded her I already got the H1N1 but she told me they were be very safe with pregnant women and giving it anyway. So today I'm taking my son to the Dr to have him checked and immediately after I'm going to stop in my OB office to see if they have my results. Do I even go to my OB or do I call my PCP? They are NOT in the same office nor affilated. (whole other story!) SO my question to those who have actually HAD H1N1, what were your symptoms? How sick were you? I feel sick, especially in the am when I wake up and middle of the night, but honestly I feel like I've been sicker in my life. |
