hail mary--last ditch IUI?

Anonymous
I'm in a same sex relationship, so purchased sperm from a sperm bank. After 5 failed IUIs, 2 egg retrievals and 4 FETs, I became pregnant with my daughter. We had one PGS tested embryo remaining, which we used when trying for a second. Didn't work, so we did a final egg retrieval, got 2 3-days, put them both in, and neither implanted.

I'm now 43 and I don't want to go through another egg retrieval. I'm coming to terms with just having 1, but I'm wondering what to do with our remaining vials of sperm. Should I try a few IUIs?

Downside = no PGS testing with 43 year old egg (and at least one of PGS tested embryos had downs from last cycle)

Upside = will make me feel like I did everything I could.

It can't hurt and will allow you to feel you did everything possible. Yes you will not have testing, but chances are still relatively low that you will have a problem. If you want another child and be don't want to go thru ivf, I don't really see other options

It can’t hurt. I would stop at 1, but only you know what you can handle. How old is your DD?

I sold my sperm to another family who was using the same donor.

I had a successful IUI after 3 failed IVFs.

We did a last shot why not iui and I'm now 34 weeks pregnant. I'm younger than you (36) but have severe DOR so my ovaries are about the same age as yours... clomid, trigger shot, and estrogen and progesterone after the iui for me.
