If you have an apple watch paired with your iphone and have them set to mirror notifications, do you hear a text alert sound from your phone? I only just noticed that my phone was not sounding when a text came in (:shock, but it sounds on my watch.

No, not when the screen is off. The phone dings if it’s unlocked and the screen is still on.
