I am 55 years old and quite thin, BMI 20.
Last winter, when we had some 6 degree mornings, I was able to walk outside in just jeans and a long sleeved cotton tee shirt. I have never been cold tolerant, then came menopause. Hot flashes have taken over. They rule my life. I walk around with coats in my hand, in case, but never put them on.
To those who have had severe hot flashes, were you able to walk around in extreme cold with no issue?
I am wondering if this is normal. I was always the one complaining about how it was too cold. Now, it's the opposite.
