Add some SPRING into your step at District Irish Dance Academy! We’re excited to announce our Spring Session of Intro to Irish Dance for Kids! In this 6-week series, dancers will jump, kick, step and slide while learning the fundamentals (focus on the "fun"!) of Irish dance, musicality, rhythm, technique and more! The final class will present a showcase for families. It’s a great way to get a taste of the exciting world of Irish dance!
WHO: Kids age 5 & up WHAT: Intro to Irish Dance - Spring Session - for Kids! Offered by District Irish Dance Academy (owned by former Riverdance cast and DC local Joe Duffey, TCRG) WHERE: Fuse Pilates Foxhall Square (3301 New Mexico Ave NW) WHEN: Saturdays, 3:30-4:00pm, 4/6-5/18 (6 weeks total, no class 4/20) COST/REGISTRATION: $125 — Sign up at: https://classbug.com/businesses/1730/events/644591 OTHER DETAILS: Open to brand new dancers. No dance shoes needed. Socks/barefoot are sufficient. Students must wear athletic apparel (no jeans or restrictive clothing). Please be on time. Make-ups only granted in special circumstances.
