informal survey: does anyone else hate the blaring TV at Shady Grove in DC?

Just wondering if I'm the only person who dislikes having to watch/listen to the TV when trying to do work or read in the waiting room. I've considered asking the staff to turn it off, but maybe I'm in the minority.

Personally, I don't mind it at all. I find it hard to read anyway because there is always so much going on in the waiting rooms, TV or not. I go to DC and Rockville.

I like it in Annandale, maybe they can just turn it down a bit for you..or put on the captions..

Depends. Some of the time it distracted me when I was nervous about what the ultrasound would show; other times I was annoyed by the repetition of the CNN news cycle.
