Parents of an infant trying to locate the seasonal flu shot. We are located in NW DC but happy to drive to get the shot. Does anyone know of any locations offering the seasonal shots this week?
Thanks! |
| (Not the OP) I just checked the nifty google map but it is showing NO locations with the seasonal shot anywhere convenient to me. Gah! I got my H1N1 weeks ago but still have not been able to find the seasonal! |

OP Here. Yes, the Google Map showed no seasonal flu shot availability. I have also tried the CVS Minute Clinics in the area and they also say no availability. Anyone have any luck out there?
I guess we are paying for our procrastination! |
Don't think it's available yet - just H1N1. |
| Farragut Travel medical had it a few weeks ago, you might want to check their website. |

I was in the same boat in NW DC. Hard to find a place to give a shot to a small child in the district. If your child is over 6 months try INOVA. We found it pretty easy.

I called last week and was told they had 10 doses left out of 12,000 and that they were not going to get in any more. |
Seasonal flu shot has been out for at least two months. Try Giant or CVS. |

If you're willing to come to NOVA, Inova hospitals have clinics on Saturdays. Go to the inova website and click classes and search flu. I just made an appointment for my husband in Dec. They have a few Thanksgiving weekend if you're around.
Good luck! |
