I eat a croissant most days

With my morning coffee.

Will this be detrimental to my health?

It all depends on what you do the rest of your days of the week...

I'm right there with you. Sometimes it's a muffin.

I'll tell you one thing...I'm not going to look back on my life and reminisce about all the kale I ate.

I mostly try to eat healthy.

Lucky you.
I gain weight by just looking at a croissant.

This is a typical Italian breakfast, and I don't think they have any more health issues than Americans. I loved having a daily morning croissant and cappuccino when I lived there! Enjoy

The opposite, it brings you joy and that's what food is about. Enjoy!

My father did that for years and ended up with high cholesterol, and the doctor told him to cut back.

Aren't they pure butter? Forget weight - that doesn't sound good from a fat/cholesterol perspective.

Who are you people who are giving OP sh*t for having a croissant a few days / week?

It's a croissant, not heroin.

I wish I could. I love them.
