Has anyone had embryos shipped cross country?

We are considering trying for baby #2 but our embryos are in CA. Before we moved, our RE said if we wanted to try again in the future, we should fly back to CA for the transfer and be monitored here in DC. Being that I have a toddler this isn't seeming so practical right now. While I'm sure it would be easier in some ways, it just seems like a lot. Has anyone had embryos shipped? Is it a terrible idea? We have 12 embryos, so to be safe, I guess we could keep a few in CA in case something happened?
