Thanks for the info. Interesting that the link doesn't have the above clinic (for school-aged children) listed, so perhaps it's not happening? |
This came from my son's high school. Maybe they are only sending this info out to school families and not posting it. |
| Why would they have a clinic for school-aged kids in the middle of the school day?? |
Uh, maybe because it's a Sunday! |
| Actually, November 19th is a school day (thursday, tomorrow). I was wondering too why school aged shots are during the school day. |

"We cannot guarantee that you will get your preferred choice of vaccine (nasal spray or shot) when you reach the vaccination station. Amounts of each vaccine vary and there are limited quantities available. "
This doesn't make sense. Wouldn't they be reserving the injection for people who can not get the mist? This sounds like they are fine with you simply having a preference. Does this also mean that you could get a ticket, wait in line for 5 hours, you get up to the station and then you find they only have the mist which your child with asthma can not take? |
| I suppose that's possible, but I would think it is to keep those that can take the mist from thinking they can get a shot when they don't medically need one. When I took DD on 10/21, I did ask to get her an injection because she was stuffy with allergies, but I was told she had to have the mist. I would hope they will do that again. |

the last line was added to the e mail alert i just received:
Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will hold an H1N1 vaccination clinic on Sunday, Nov. 22nd, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m............ Families can assign one person to wait in line, while others wait in the car. |
| are you sure? it does not make any sense. |
| If it starts at 10am, what time would you arrive? |
