Full shade outdoor plant or flower options?

We have an over hang along the back of the house that gets no sun but I’d love to plant something to make it more appealing looking. Is there anything that would grow in full shade?

Thanks!

They're not flowering plants, but we have masses of Autumn Ferns and think they look beautiful year round.

Hostas, as long as you don't have deer problems.

astilbe like shade, and won't be eaten by deer

Bleeding heart, but they only flower in the spring.

I agree on ferns. I have ostrich ferns in with our bleeding hearts.

Huechera , hellebores, brunnera, ligularia, columbines and even lobelia cardinalis if you have bright shade, in addition to the above. You can add in containers of begonias and fuchsias for summer color.
Many of the fowering perennials have short bloom times so a mixture of foliage will keep the space more interesting.

Ferns, solomon's seal, white wood aster.

Hostas!

If you don’t mind replanting annuals, coleus and begonia bring great color to shade.

Otherwise, the only luck I’ve had in deep shade was with heuchera, hosta, ferns, and tiarella. The different colored foliage keeps things interesting.
