Looking to hire a part-time housekeeper to help with household management during the week (when we’re all at work/school). For example things like laundry, cleaning, making meals, etc.
We currently have a weekly cleaning service, but I keep thinking there has to be a better outsourcing solution - perhaps it would be a better use of resources if we hired someone on a more frequent basis to handle a broader range of tasks. If you’ve ever hired someone like this - any tips? I’ll check care.com, but any ideas on other sources? To be clear - not looking for childcare assistance, but rather someone to help with basic household logistics. Thanks in advance. |

Thank you! |
Google care dot com in the news this week. They have not been doing such a great job in background checking the people on their site.
In this area, I think the best way to find people is by word of mouth. Ask everyone you know, post on Facebook and ask your local friends if they know anyone, ask people at your church/place of worship, post on Next-door, ask people at your work. If you can't find anyone that way, google domestic staffing agencies near you. |
