Socially isolated 12 yo DD: can you recommend PEERS group in MoCo?

Anonymous
She has motor planning delays and some mild speech issues (lower processing speed). ASD has been ruled out many, many times but IMP she may be on the very high-functioning end of the spectrum. She yearns for friends but is often on the outside looking in (“invisible”) which is harder to cope with now that she’s in puberty and just more aware of things. She’s become more self-conscious, too.

Any good PEERS groups for girls like her? We’re in the Rockville area.

Thanks.

There's a PEERS group at the Ivymount School. Also at erinsplacefortherapy.com in Rockville.

We recently finished up a PEERS teen group in Chevy Chase with Dr. David Black and Hope Harris-Black. I was very pleased with their program.
