Investing timing for inheritance

Anonymous
I recently inherited about $200K. I'm probably going to just stick with my three-fund Boglehead portfolio, it's served me really well over the long haul. My question is about timing. I don't want to put it all in the market at once. Would you stagger it in 12 equal monthly installments, 4 (or 8) quarterly installments, or something else?

Our cash cushion is well funded and we have quite a bit in the market already, but I feel stumped at how to manage this. I'm probably overthinking it.

There’s really no advantage to dollar cost averaging. The market is “down” right now so now is as good a time as any to throw it all in

If you don’t mind me asking, what’s your three fund portfolio?

this shows a poor understanding of dollar cost averaging. The market is "down" compared to what? Last week? Last month? 2018? Its up as compared to 2009 like way up. But its down compared to October. Between tariffs, China and interest rates you could average in over a period of 12-18 months.
