Wife lost a lot of weight and needs fashion advice

Anonymous
DW is 32, recently lost a lot of weight and is now down to 140. She previously shopped at Kohl's and has been very conservative and shopping the sales. She's feeling sexy and very happy with the new look but is struggling to find the right place to buy clothes. She's a mom of 2, so she wants to look classy and sexy. Any recommendations on where the best options to shop that aren't overly expensive?

Nordstrom personal shopper

Nordstrom has personal shoppers - that might be a good place for her to start. They don't charge for the service, and I've found them willing to work within a budget.

This lady is great too. I follow her on FB, and someday when I get my act together, I plan to buy a session with her to get some help. She could probably help your wife out. https://youreverydaystyle.com/

Check out some fashion blogs. The momedit (google it) is great because they have 6-8 women with different body shapes and stylistic tastes that post, and they do a sale roundup every week.

I hired a wardrobe consultant to go through my closet with me, and then go shopping with me. She moved out of state but still sells seasonal wardrobe guides at Your Everyday Style dot com.

I'm lost but wanted to ask if I have to create a facebook account to even look at her site.

No way. No how. I am not doing that.

I recommend she use a rental service to figure out what she likes. But why are you posting this instead of her?

I'd do one of those box services for a couple of seasons. You can try a variety of brands and see what you like.

also weird language - she is feeling sexy and wants to look classy and sexy

this just sounds like someone trying to get us to help him get off. good for you if you know what you like, man - 32 year old moms who are feeling sexy for the first time - but try this in explicit instead of here please. here, we fight about capris.

SUUUPER weird that you are posting this instead of your wife. Most husbands have zero to do with their wives' fashion choices.

He might be looking for advice, but def control issues. This is how my FIL treats my MIL, she can’t buy anything herself, he picks every piece of clothing, decides what she is eating etc etc. 50 shades of grey in bloom. MIL is also a breadwinner in the family, go figure, perhaps it’s the only place where he has control and feels like a “man”.

His "wife" is probably chained in his basement and starving.
