Has anyone regretted getting one? My kids are 12, 10 and 8. Always been asking but now I am finally considering. My sister's kids love theirs, my friends kids etc. Just wondering if anyone is not happy after getting one.
Thanks! |
Too dangerous. |
My friend is an orthopedist and thanks you in advance for getting one. She and her colleagues will see you in the ER. Do a basic google search--too many broken bones. The only way to be safe is if there is only one jumper, and how many kids want to jump alone? |
![]() This website that lets their kids freely browse the internet on multiple expensive devices without checking the amount of nudes theyre sending on snapchat or preditors they expose themselves to... And lets them do multiple travel sports, without chaperoning, and risks tons of dangerous injuries, will tell you omg you're horrible. You're not. They're safer there and they're at home, having healthy outdoor fun, with siblings cousins close neighbors. You can see them. Sure, they might twist an ankle. Rarely they may get hurt. Cars are statistically more dangerous. Playing lacrosse is way more dangerous. Get it. |
We got one for Christmas and haven’t had any problems. Our 9 and 5 year old wanted one to practice their gymnastics. They use the same thing at gymnastics so I didn’t really see a problem. I was a bit worried to purchase one after reading here but our neighbors have them and I grew up with all my friends having them and none of us were ever injured. |
My sister broke her ankle growth plate on a backyard trampoline. NO thank you |
My sister has one in her backyard and all of kids love it! Ages 12 to 5. I think it's a 12ft. |
We love ours. It never gets old! My kids are 6 and 4. |
Nope. Dont do it. Your insurance will drop you. I know two kids am doing an adult who broke their legs on trampolines. I’m pretty lax, but my kids aren’t allowed on them. |
We got one a few years ago. My kids love it. When they’re not jumping on of, they’re ha going out together talking.
Everything has risks. And people will always know someone who got hurt no matter what the activity or device. You just have to decide if the risks outweigh the benefits. |
WTF? I've had one for a decade and have always maintained my homeowners insurance. |
The only person I know who broke a bone on a trampoline was a slightly drunk adult.
We've had 3 over 12 years, often have 2-6 kids jumping at once and never had an injury, even with the sprinkler under/beside it. Kids also hang a parachute over the top and use it as a hangout space. |
Our homeowners' insurance company asks whether we have one, because they charge you more if you do. That says it all. No way. |
If we had had the space, we would have totally gotten one. |
My 4 year old loves to jump, he has been using a backyard trampoline for 2 years. I keep an eye on him obviously, but never had any issues. |
