Just got one a few weeks ago and we are very happy with it so far. We also considered the VW Atlas (advantage: much better legroom in the 3rd row and slightly better cargo space), but went with the Ascent because DH liked the drive better. The Ascent (with the features we wanted) also cost substantially less which made the decision even easier.
Fwiw, we also considered the Toyota Highlander and already have a Pilot. |

Yes, we are happy with the Legacy. It’s only 4 months old. My husband picked it out himself so I don’t know all the details but it’s the top trim level with the V6 engine and sunroof. He spends 1 1/2 to 2 hours commuting everyday so he wanted something nice. So far it’s been great. |

We’ve had ours since August and are very happy with it. Very comfortable, decent mileage for the size of the vehicle. We usually have the third row folded down but have used it a couple times. Perfectly comfortable for kids in the back. |

| OP here. Happy to see happy drivers! I owned a 2006 Legacy for many years and now drive the 2015 legacy. I’d likely be trading it in for the Ascent as our family vehicle. If we hadn’t expanded our family, I was planning to keep the Legacy until my oldest could drive at which point she’d get the car (she’s 3!). For the PP considering a Legacy, do it! |
