After all, Mayer said, Diana Falzone, a reporter for the network, learned that Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen had arranged to pay off adult-film actress Stormy Daniels so she wouldn’t publicly discuss an alleged affair with Trump — but the story was never published. “But Falzone’s story didn’t run—it kept being passed off from one editor to the next. After getting one noncommittal answer after another from her editors, Falzone at last heard from LaCorte, who was then the head of FoxNews.com. Falzone told colleagues that LaCorte said to her, ‘Good reporting, kiddo. But Rupert [Murdoch] wants Donald Trump to win. So just let it go.’”

Charts are include to compare coverage of the Daniels story on the major networks, when it finally broke. Apparently FOX doesn't like covering news that doesn't fit their narrative.

Saw that thread, but they don't seem to talk about the killing of stories, just that FOX News gave Don the Con the debate questions in advance.

Fox news is the propaganda arm of GOP and especially Trump.

This should have more media coverage, honestly.

They are the GOP mouthpiece.

Why is this a surprise? Fox news is the only fake news!

Rupert Murdoch killed the story.

A small number of propagandists brainwashes 35% of America by filling their heads with lies.

Meh. Kind of reminds me of how the WaPo initially silenced the Vanessa Tyson accusation of Justin Fairfax. So interesting, right?!

So clear that you didn’t read this article, right?

Falzone has the Stormy story dead to rights. She had researched it for months and had multiple sources and had seen the documents. Then her editors at Fox shut her down and made her sign an NDA.

Not at all the same. And I’m someone who wants Fairfax to resign.

Sounds about right

There are an untold number of media outlets, most of which skew very liberal as compared with Fox, and Fox, at least according to DCUM, is not considered at all a credible news source by the Left.

Stormy Daniels, if she had wanted publicity, could have gotten it very easily from numerous other media outlets, and in fact, that is ultimately what happened, as soon as she decided it would be in her best interests to violate her secrecy agreement.

Besides, had her story been disseminated via Fox, none of the now-complaining progressives would have believed it anyway, because Fox.

They killed the story, killed it dead. Why? Because Murdoch wanted Trump to win - it has the quote in the New Yorker article, the article you didn’t read. All the charges you cons make about the media being so friendly to the liberals is projection. It’s the conservatives who have Fox in their pocket, working in tandem.

The media endorses candidates. As long as this continues, they are not reliable sources.
