Where to train when its too cold outside? (VA)

Would love to get my DD more touches on the ball but seems its very limited. We have KIDS CHOICE in Woodbridge and Annandale but fields seems always booked. Where do you go??

Not probably what you were thinking but my DD has a set up in our garage where she can juggle and follow an online program of footwork.

We've done the following:

1) Downstairs family room setup for footwork (no juggling).
2) Racquetball courts. We're a military family, so we've used the ones on Fort Belvoir for free. Can call ahead to reserve.
3) Joined St. James. Just google it.

Yea without the team setting. Pick up indoor soccer would be nice or a place to just kick the ball around like a outdoor park but since its too cold can't really do that.

What footskills videos do your kids use? That sound fantastic for the basement.

We have our basement set up with a field. We put down indoor/outdoor carpet. Kids are down there most nights.

Try the Techne app too. Pretty neat and can do this in basement or garage.

Else, the St. James is a decent place.
