We are taking our sons (7, 4 & 2) for a day-trip to Christmas in Hershey. We've never been to Hershey Park and are hoping to hear tips about what to do/not to do/where to eat/etc. on one-day trips to the park. Also, has anyone gone to Christmas in Hershey before and have any specific advice for the seasonal event?
Thank you in advance!! |

Haven't done Christmas in Hershey, but we took our 4 year old on a day trip there this summer. It should be really great for your 7 and 4 year olds, there's tons for them to ride. There's plenty for the 2 year old, but it's a big park (MUCH bigger than Dutch Wonderland) and a LOT of walking in between areas. Definitely look at a park map beforehand and try to plan out what rides you definitely want to do.
One other piece of advice - don't try to ride the rides at the front of the park first. These are SUPER crowded at opening time, because they are the first rides everyone sees. Pick a different area and walk there first, then I'd say go around the park and end up at the front part, since you have to leave through there anyway. |
