Homeschooling a teen with HFA - any success stories?

I'm wondering if there are any success stories out there for homeschooling a teen with HFA and related issues (socially delayed, social anxiety, and not academic).
Please share your experience - good or bad or combination. Thank you! |

| We had a great homeschooling experience. Child was very self directed in learning. Lots of great homeschool classes out there. The only drawback I see is making social connections because no school every day with the same kids. |
