Not much to talk about really. I assume this is suppose to be proof that Obama is a Nazi, socialist, Muslim terrorist?

I agreed with Glen Greenwald's take on the subject. The Obama administration is distributing "justice" on "how likely are we to convict?" basis. They must have the goods on KSM, so he gets a trial. The ones we can't convict in civilian court get military tribunals. And, the ones for whom we have no evidence whatsoever, we continue to detain without charges. The last group includes Omar Khadr who has been held since he was 15 years old.

They will not be able to use any evidence that the military gathered, b/cause in a warzone there is 'no chain of custody' - just trust in the evidence gathering of the military personnel. Also, Holder is dismissing all of the waterboard statements. All of these guys agreed to plea guilty under a military tribunal. They shall love a civilian. Holder said the trials can take up to five years. Who will sit on THIS jury for $150 a week? New York--welcome to your new neighbor.

Not to mention that the military and CIA doesn't typically mirandize the enemy combatants on the battlefield. I am not surprised by the development, but none the less I am deeply saddened by it. 911 families have been through enough.

I wondered about this myself until I heard that KSM copped to planning it all on Al Jazeera before he was even in custody. No waterboarding, just bragging. I think that should be enough for a conviction.
