PSA - changing school attendance zones IS redistricting

I keep seeing posters explain in a condescending manner that changing school attendance zones within Montgomery County isn’t redistricting because the school district is remaining the same. So, please, keep describing the Walter Johnson/Woodward study and Clarksburg/NW/Seneca Valley as a move toward redistricting. BECAUSE IT IS!

A regular poster will chime in any minute to tell you that MCPS is one district so changes within MCPS are not redistricting..just a boundary change. Most people use the terms interchangeably though.

It doesn't matter to me what you call it. We live in the NW cluster and I know it means we may end up a different school.
