I have a friend who's a new teacher there (experienced, new to the school) and she says the kids are great and it's a solid school. FWIW.

A few young girls that go to my hairdresser attend Bowie or just graduated. They speak highly of it. Most have gotten scholarship offers to some colleges. The student body is a mix of children that are succeeding and others who are just getting by.

Thanks to the two previous posters for your input. I am not the OP but I have heard mixed reviews. So I needed to hear some positive feedback.

My coworkers has a daughter that is graduating from Bowie High School and her daughter liked the school as well. Of course it is not perfect but she enjoyed her years there.
