| What a coincidence! I just got off the phone with my 24 year old DD and she loves this movie (all 3), and will recommend them to her friends that teach early elementary. She says the themes and life lessons are so valid and positive. I can’t say for a 4 year old, but I’d guess it would be fine. Plenty of discussion points depending your child’s readiness. |

The books or the movie?
My child would not have liked either at 4 -- too scary. But some kids are fine. We read the books when he was around 6 or 7 and the movie/tv shows shortly afterward. |
