Mirror closet doors? Yea or nea?

What do you think of mirror closet doors? The bifold kind, or the sliding door kind? I need to replace some doors (don't ask) and I can't find the same style of door as the rest of the house without spending $$$$. Are mirror doors dated? I kind of like them, I think they make the room feel bigger. I had some when I was a teen and I liked having a big mirror in my room. I would usually not care but I don't intend to stay in this house forever and I don't want to make it more dated.

Dated but if you like them that is all that matters.

They are dated, but I think they are making a comeback. I've seen lots of sites with mirrored walls/doors.

Dated but really helpful. Loved having a 3D view of how clothes looked from the back.

OP here- right?!? I think the beveled bi-fold kind look really nice, actually. I think I may go for it, despite them being dated.

LOL the ones on pinterest are all way fancier than what I want to spend.

Yes another vote for dated but damn if they aren’t useful! I haven’t had them in ages but I’m always wishing I had a bigger floor length mirror. It does seem like something that is useful and adds light will swing back in style.

I did a mirror pocket door - love it! And don’t have to look at it unless I’m using it.

I really like them and don’t consider them dated. Many of them look quite modern to me.

Slightly dated but completely functional.

So yeah!!

We just replaced mirrored bi-fold doors with...mirrored bi-fold doors! This was in a walk through closet on the way to the master bath. I didn't want my closet open and exposed, and the full length mirrors on both sides can give me a 360 view.

The new ones are much more streamlined - better trim and handles - so they don't look nearly as dated.

OP here... where did you get yours from?
