Cost of OT?

| We've been referred to an Occupational Therapist for my son's sensory problems and we're assuming he'll be diagnosed with SPD. We have an appointment for an evaluation in a week and a half but in the interim I'm wondering about the cost of the OT he'll likely need. I'd appreciate it if anyone can give me ballpark estimates on cost, so we can start budgeting as we have very little extra money these days. Thanks a lot! |

| In the Springfield//Franconia area, we pay $125-$130 per 50 minute session. Insurance covers 75-90% of the cost depending on if it's an in/out of network provider. |

We use two - Children's Therapy Center in Springfield (703-569-7500) and Kingstowne Pediatric Occupational Therapy in Franconia (703-971-0602). The reason we go to two different ones is because of the waitlists. I've got two kids who need OT and got on a bunch of wait lists. The first spot opened at CTC and the next spot came from KPOT. We've been happy with the therapists at both places.
