| And posted pictures on Facebook where they also add parents what would you think? Assume you like the school for all general purposes. |
| I wouldn’t like it at all. Very unprofessional |
| I wouldn’t care. It’s preschool. |
| Is your issue with the nature of the partying or that only some parents were invited? |
|
Weird.
Weird and cliquey. |
Household debate. One party thinks pathetic - like paying people to hang out - and elitist. They make decisions about class placement etc. |

| our school director came to kid's birthday party (couldn't make the second) when DS turned one. we later enrolled him. never gave it any thought. |
| I don’t think it’s ok for teachers to babysit their students after hours nor is it ok for the director to socialize with parents out of the school setting. If it was a school fundraiser and there were pictures from the function that would be fine. But on the directors personal Facebook page, with current select parents of the school, shows a complete lapse in judgement and of maintaining a professional boundary |
| It’s PRESCHOOL. It does not matter. |
That didn't really answer the question. |
| Why doesn’t it matter in preschool? When does it start to matter to you? |
Agree. The preschool director and teachers are regular people with lives. It's fine. |
| i'd probably feel differently about a preschool/daycare than a PK-8 or PK-12 school. If the former, who cares? If the latter, it's unprofessional. |
