Looking for our 7 year old son. He wants to listen to music but not juts what we have downloaded.
Any good radio/Mp3 players out there? I want something that will handle him carrying it around/using outdoors but that isn't too toddler looking. |
I went on Amazon and found an off-brand, well reviewed MP3 player for my middle school son who loves music and doesn’t have a smartphone. It does also have a radio. I think the brand is something like AGPTEK but there’s a bunch that look nearly identical, are made in China, and are differently branded. |
Scandisk at Amazon, best buy works great. |
I gave DS 7 an old iPod. You can plug a receiver into it. He loves the iPod and watching music videos of his favorite groups, 2 Cellos and Piano Guys. |
I don't think you mean "Scandisk." |
OP, I know what you want and think it is not being made today due to lack of demand for the radio function.
Around 2010 Apple sold the iPod, 6th generation. https://everymac.com/systems/apple/ipod/specs...ouch-nano-specs.html This played MP3 and iTunes songs and had an integrated FM radio. I had one and the radio worked OK in the city if you were not too far from an FM station's transmitter. You can find them on Ebay for prices that look pretty good to me for an older device. You have to use iTunes to set it up and transfer music to it so make sure one of you is up to dealing with that minor hassle. |
