Fun things to do for Valentine’s Day?

Anonymous
DD7 is really excited for V-Day this year. I want to make it a little fun, especially since we will be alone (dad is on business trip).

So far:

Turning cereal milk pink and OJ red
Heart-shaped sandwich

Are you doing anything fun?

Kids will be having parties at school, and they're getting valentines from me/DH with Hershey's kisses.

I'm making a special breakfast for the kids (little heart-shaped breakfast pies, bacon hearts, strawberries) and we'll have heart-shaped pizza for dinner. I also got them each a book related to love. Not Valentine's specifically, but something sweet they'll hopefully enjoy. Plus the class parties, of course!

We are doing a chocolate fondue for dessert.

I have to ask - what are bacon hearts?

After they go to bed tonight, I'll cut out some paper hearts, write things I love about each of them on the hearts, and tape them to their bedroom doors to see when they wake up.

I did the same.
