TJ’s sushi - yuck

| I frequently read and contribute to threads exolling the virtues of this and that Trader Joe’s items. For once I am here to report the opposite - I tried TJ’s sushi (CA rolls) today for the first time and it is awful. Extremely sweet and almost chemically and fake tasting. And before the sushi snobs come out, I eat grocery store sushi from Whole foods and it is a different world than TJs, which is probably akin to the sushi 7-11 would sell if it did. |

I had the same and unfortunate experience. It was horrible to the point of being inedible.

OP, the sushi at TJs is like a big inside joke - even the biggest, most ardent TJ fans know their sushi is truly awful. Sorry you didn't know this going in.
