Recommend your favorite Netflix/Amazon/Hulu series

I need a series I can watch with my husband. Must have sufficient action, drama, historical context, and romance/character development. Favorites have been The Americans & The Crown. No sci fi or dystopian dramas. Any suggestions?

All of the Colombia seasons of Narcos. Amazing TV. Narcos: Mexico isn’t as good. Russian Doll is quite excellent so far. If you have HBO, Barry is amazing. I’m just flinging random suggestions because The Americans sets a very high bar and these are few series, all different, which meet it. A lot of the historical and British or Brit-derived series recommended her are not good IMO - trite prestige bullshit is the worst.

Bodyguard was really good. Jack Ryan was OK. Ozark's good. All but the last season of House of Cards if you haven't watched it already.
