I don't see why Scarlett would be particularly mad at Blake for doing exactly what Scarlett herself did. They were even around the same age. Ultimately both Scarlett and Blake wound up in long-lasting relationships with kids that seem to be pretty stable. If Scarlett is sitting around stewing over Blake, I'd think so much less of her. I sincerely doubt she is though.

I don’t think anyone thinks Scarlet is sitting around stewing over this, but she’s probably annoyed that she’s being dragged into this. Much like Taylor. It’s a gross and sleazy set of events and now everyone’s reminded that he probably set up some gross company while still married to her. Is it ultimately a big deal? No but she probably would rather not be be part of this whole debacle.

Funny that you think Blake has some long lasting relationship when her marriage is clearly melting down and she’s married to a controlling power hungry a-hole.

It's not what I "think" it's just factual. I mean whatever you think of Blake or her marriage, she and Ryan have been married for over a decade and have four kids together. That's absolutely "long-lasting" by Hollywood standards. Also there's no sign their marriage is melting down? Again, regardless of what you think of them, they seem quite committed based on their behavior throughout all of this. I personally don't buy the theory that Blake and Baldoni had a flirtation and Ryan got jealous. The documentation indicates that Blake and Baldoni were at odds before filming even started and that Ryan was protective about it from the jump.

So were Will and Jada, Hugh and his wife for 27 years, Kyle and Mauricio (who we now know was cheating for years until Kyle reached a breaking point) and apparently Clooney and his wife. The sham marriages in Hollywood tend to be the longest lasting because they have an arrangement and both parties are doing their own thing. It’s the ones that expect faithfulness that end in divorce.

I’m not aware of Jackman or Clooney cheating or having a bad marriage — 27 years is a good run, no shame there. I think you’re assuming these people are gay or something but that seems to be mostly in your head. I don’t know who Mauricio is lol. You may spend too much time reading tabloids lol.

It was pretty well known that Will and Jada had an open marriage years and years before they finally admitted to it. The same speculation has surrounded Hugh Jackman’s marriage, though he never admitted to it. Clooney and wife apparently have admitted to living separate lives, according to another thread on here. And Kyle is a Beverly Hills housewife (Paris hiltons aunt) and she and her husband of nearly 30 years are now living separately but not divorced and she’s pretty much admitted in so many words that she had been putting up with his cheating for a long time (which like the others, had been rumored for sometime).

Just saying a lot of the longer lasting Hollywood marriages work because the two people have an understanding, or as RR has “joked” many times about his own marriage “a Hollywood arrangementship”. Where there’s smoke there’s fire. Many of Blake’s texts to JB were definitely flirty. If they don’t have an open marriage, I can’t imagine all is well in the reynolds household after JB leaked those texts. I would’ve been mortified if I were Blake and my husband read those texts.

Clooney’s wife moved her and the kids to NYC from Europe for the 6 months he’s doing his broadway play. They’re not very separate lol. Jackman and his wife had a 25 year run, which is pretty respectable. That said, I’m sure some people have open marriages (I just don’t think Clooney or Jackman qualify).

I don’t think Lively and Baldoni were together. I don’t think she could stand him for the most part, and I think he was similarly frustrated by her. *shrug*

Agreed -- oil and water. I find it bizarre when people say they had chemistry in that dance footage they released or in their texts. To me they seem to low key hate each other but both working very hard to pretend they don't because they have to do this movie together. In the dance footage, the both seem annoyed as all get out.

Blake's texts come across as flirty, and I don't know if that's genuine interest or an artifact of her younger self (who was known to have a string of affairs with people she played opposite). She may just be caught in a dynamic. But her texts were flirty.

Agree. They clearly got along at some point, you can go back to his Instagram when they first met around December 2022, January 2023 and she was playfully commenting on his posts. They were buddies at the least - she hooked him up with Don the very famous trainer and I don’t believe she would’ve invited him to her apartment with Taylor or on her private jet if they weren’t at least friends at the start.

I also think she had extreme insecurity about her body at that time that didn’t help her perception of things. But I don’t think Justin should be blamed for that. He was nothing but respectful.

What I can’t get out of my mind when I think of this situation is how she wanted to delay the body scenes and she was insecure, immediately after that Ryan sent that weird introduction text and asked Justin if they can basically reschedule the whole movie so that they could be with their family or something weird. I think he got in her head with the whole “an acting role is like an athlete, and this is your responsibility to get in shape” and got to her about how she was not ready to do this movie postpartum. I think he’s incredibly controlling and I think it’s quite clear from his social media that he has a history of being cruel to her. All in good fun right, ha ha. I don’t find it funny. I think Ryan is behind so much of this.

And this is how words become exaggerations that misled. I simply said “ it must sting a bit.”

You’re coming back at me saying “sitting around stewing over.” This is an extreme interpretation of what I had questioned.

Think of it as “loud” versus “LOUD.”

That’s how you responded to my simple assertion.

I know why I, from time to time, get overheated when discussing these posts. I’m a victim of workplace harassment. But here I was, asserting a softer and sensitive point about potential marital infidelity, and you turned up the volume.

It seems like you “turn up the volume” with so many of your posts, taking it far more personally at times than suggested. The question is “why?”

Whoa.

I say this as someone who has been harassed: you need to speak to a therapist. This is not a good place or way to work out your issues.

Then what the hell are you doing on here? This is not your lawsuit. Are you being paid or is this just 24x7 escapism for you? Why are you so fixed to this thread? At least I have a reason.

Watch where you throw that stone.

You should listen to the beyond the blinds episode on Jackman. His sham marriage was one of the biggest open secrets in Hollywood. I’m not as caught up on the Clooney stuff and haven’t read the other thread, but know there have been rumors. Open marriages are more common than people think.

No one is throwing stones except you. This is a pretty juice legal conflict between two celebrities. As a lawyer and someone who enjoys Hollywood and BTS content about movie making, this is a very entertaining story to follow. I enjoy it as a distraction from some of the awful things happening in the world right now, and the legal part gives my brain something to puzzle over in a way that straight up celebrity gossip does not.

But I don't know these people. I wasn't there. Whatever happens, it won't actually impact me personally at all. And the same is true for you. If you can't avoid personalizing every single thing about this story, it is probably bad for your mental health to be discussing it all the time. A therapist would tell you the same thing. Consider that you are clearly very emotionally upset about comments on this thread. Is this a good reason to get emotionally upset? Is it? Go work out your emotions about being harassed with a licensed therapist. This is not a healthy place for you. It's not an escape or a fun puzzle for you. You have internalized it and made it about yourself which (1) sucks for you, and (2) makes it impossible to have a normal conversation with you on this subject because you will take anything that anyone says as a personal attack when we don't even know you! We can't possibly be attacking you personally because we are total strangers who know nothing about your life.

Think about it.

You should listen to the beyond the blinds episode on Jackman. His sham marriage was one of the biggest open secrets in Hollywood. I’m not as caught up on the Clooney stuff and haven’t read the other thread, but know there have been rumors. Open marriages are more common than people think.

It’s also pretty clear the Priyanka and the Jonas brothers marriage is completely fake. Its one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood that he is gay. And she completely trashed her reputation in India needed to restart her career in America and wanted a strong foothold.

Their wedding was completely ridiculous and just one big commercial.

I don’t think normal sane people recognize that there are some people who gravitate toward that industry who are so unhinged. They don’t really give a crap about finding real love or connection or commitment. I really think not all celebrities but some gravitate toward that industry because they are missing something fundamental in them. I don’t believe for a second that sham are that rare.

Moving on, Blake has added a new attorney. Probably for her suit against Jed Wallace.

Just looked at docs and it’s her suit against Wayfarer.

Article with more quotes from both sides' attorneys and new info on the subpoena. Deadline was one of the media outlets that had claimed to have seen it before the Vanzan lawsuit was located, so it's probably credible.

We also know that Jones received that Doe subpoena October 1.

Naming Lively, Reynolds and the couple’s various companies and entities, the subpoena “concerns, refers, relates and applies to any and all electronic records, data, documents, and communications in Your possession, custody or control collected from a cellular telephone containing the requested information” from December 1, 2022 onward. That material was handed over not long afterwards, and the Vanzan suit was withdrawn December 19, one day before Lively’s Civil Rights Department filing.

Not actually golden did a great post on it.

So many questions still!

Why has Freedman seen it yet?
Why are nuggets slowly being leaked?
Why was it filed as Vanzan and include both Lively and Reynolds?
Why does it go back to 2022?

Anonymous wrote:How soon people forget that Ryan and Scarlett met when he was still technically engaged to Alanis Morisette. Ryan and Alanis called off their engagement in 2007 and Ryan married Scarlett in 2008, but he was dating Scarlett by the time they publicly announced the engagement was off. Is it any surprise then that he moved from Scarlett to Blake in a very similar timeline?

*shrug*

You would have to pay me to listen to a gossip podcast.

You can get paid?!?!!! Oh then I have 1000 hours of $ coming! Yay!

IIRC that big telecom subpoena that the judge struck down from Team Lively also went back to 2022, so that's clearly a time they believe is relevant.
