Removal of dark facial hair on a man

I don't think this is common but why would a man with a very dark facial hair shadow (after shaving) and who doesn't have problems with ingrown hairs and not planning to have sex reassignment surgery choose to have the hairs removed by electrolysis?

Because they're tired of shaving maybe. My husband has to shave every other day and I don't know how he does it. I HATE shaving and put it off as long as possible. Maybe this guy is tired of it too.
