Recommend good books on kids and eating?

Anonymous
I am a ftm and have an almost one year old who, until recently, would eat everything we put in front of him. He's starting to get more picky, which I understand is completely normal. I want to read up on best practices for healthy and adventurous eating in kids, how to handle pickiness, how to avoid food battles, etc. Any books you liked?

This one is great. By far the most influential and helpful parenting resource I’ve encountered.

Plus a million for Ellyn Satter

Very few people who follow her recommendations (IME) have "picky eaters." And those who do, hey, it's understandable-- there have always been people with sensory issues, etc. But living in America, you'd think it was purely biological for the average kid to eat nothing but 3 bland kid-style proteins, 2 vegetables, 5 fruits and endless grain-based carbs. It's not.
