This medication was prescribed by my doctor and I have talked to her about this and she is not concerned. I guess i'm just looking or some input from others who have taken it.
I was given a script 3 or so weeks ago. I also had an ekg to make sure everything is on the up and up. I was instructed to take half a pill for 3 days and then the full pill. I started on the weekend Saturday was fine, I ate about 1300 calories. Sunday I was fine, ate about 1000 calories. Monday was a holiday and something went wrong. I took the half pill with my morning snack around 9:30. By the time i put my son down for a nap around noon i felt a headache coming on, shortly after that i started vomiting. I vomited on and off during my sons entire 2 hr nap and ever a little after he woke up. I took small sips of water and couldn't even keep that down. I found that moving around made my headache stop. I called the doctor and she gave me an anti-nausea medicine which worked. When i went to bed that night I still had a headache and I felt like my blood pressure was elevated but I had no real way of knowing. I have not taken the medicine since. Has anyone else had this experience? I know that vomiting and headaches are on the list of side effects, I just find it so weird that I was okay for 2 days and the 3rd day I was ill. |

| No, the only side effects I’ve ever had were waking up earlier than normal and slight jitteriness for a short time about an hour after I take it. I wouldn’t assume that the medication and the vomiting were related unless it happens again after taking it. There’s a stomach bug going around. |

| I took phentermine on and off for years. Never had that side effect. |

On it now.
1. I don't split the pill. Take the whole pill in the morning. 2. You HAVE to drink lots of water. Headaches, nausea, all part of not enough water based on my experience. If I am drinking water all day I have zero issues. |

I had a horrible experience with phentermine. Didn't lose anything and it made my heart race like crazy. I was also angry all the time or sobbing for no reason.

My aunt had 5 heart attacks while on it and after. At least she was skinny. /s |

Yeah, it's basically speed. I have no idea why you'd take it when we have weight loss drugs that are so much better and more effective. |
