| Selling soon. Need your opinions. 10 years I painted a mural on my bedroom ceiling. Four naked little cherubs in the sky! Will potential buyers be put off? |
| Yes. Paint over it. |
| Master bedroom? Buyers want a white ceiling |
| Paint over it. Immediately. |
| Please don’t paint over it. I want to see the listing pictures!! |
|
Do not paint over it! Unless it's a bad painting and you have sloppy technique. |
You can lift it and relocate. |
You’re going to have to post a picture so we can really decide.
|
10Years? Wow, you do realize that daVinci painted Mona Lisa in four years? Maybe next cherubs will go faster? You got a hang of it by now. |
Wait, it is about the same rate, you said four cherubs? ten years?.. it is about 2.5 years per cherub. It is okay. But wow, seriously you are dedicated painter. You had a scaffolding in your bedroom for the last ten years? Hold on to it, they might be worth more then the house! Maybe someone will buy for the cherubs? Don't paint over. |
OP, picture please! Because we are getting wrong ideas..
|
|
Well, did you fresco or just paint?
|
| Thank you, you guys are great! I can’t post pictures. Lol. I rented a scaffold for 2 weeks. As much as it hurts me to do it, I’m going to paint the ceiling white. The house is now a product. Thanks again! |
| If they were able to move Matisse's fresco from Merion to Philadelphia, I am sure they can remove your angels... |
| Take good photos and have them framed. Then paint over before selling |
