I want to assume the best, but I’m starting to get the ick from them. Today’s clip of her singing along with The Darkness, idk. Why doesn’t she seem genuine? I didn’t used to get that vibe.

I guess she can’t win. If she’s subdued they’ll say she’s depressed. If she’s having fun she’s accused of being drunk. It’s just starting to feel performative. Maybe she has no choice.

Maybe it’s just paying way too much attention to her/their every move. The vast majority of people in this world are not looking for every photo, video clip, article, and forum thread out there to even know about it, much less analyze all of it.

Similar vibes last year VMAs.... I think Taylor isn't neurotypical. Some of her behaviors may seem "off" due to that. Also describes how she hyperfixates and write much so fast, do so much, etc. I also think it helps her with how crazy her life is, so many in the industry say she still seems normal, not like a diva, etc. She's definitely a unicorn!

I think its terrible how people bash her looks/outfits on here. I encoucrage you to watch Miss Americana and her the words straight from her about how damaging it has been. Taylor may rub you the wrong way, but she doesn't knock people down.

We don’t know if they are or aren’t. Just because they have not announced anything publicly doesn’t mean they’re not. And I would highly doubt a public announcement during football season anyway.

She is quite old. I am always thankful I met my spouse in my very very early 20s, had all the children I wanted by 30, and now in my 40s am almost an empty nester that still fits into my college jeans. She's going about life the hard way.

Let me help you. Chapelle made news last week because she told her fans to lay off her personal life.

Taylor made her name and her pop songs almost entirely about her life. The Easter eggs, Secret parties, even her word choices at concerts makes fans feel like she is their friend. She invited the fans in to grow her base.

Chapelle tweeted last week to have her fans stay out of their personal life. She even performs in drag to mute her real persona and have a stage one.

Chapelle is absolutely trying to kill the trappings of fandom that Taylor clung to to build her brand. She is trying to be a real person and a celebrity not like Taylor who played to fan girls (picking people out of the crowd to get closer during concerts etc)

One is healthy the other isn’t.

Then start a thread about her - and maybe you can manage to spell her name correctly. This thread is about Taylor Swift.
