medical weight loss programs (NWDC/Bethesda)

Any recommendations? DH is obese and willing to try a medical weight loss program, but wants a legit clinic with doctors. Looking for something like the Inova or GW Medical Faculty Associates Program, but closer to Bethesda if possible. TIA.

The diet focuses on mindful eating, steers away from (but doesn’t eliminate carbs), exercise, drinking water, etc. the medical part is a combo of Metformin and GLP-1s so it focuses on metabolic health rather than weight loss meds that prevent hunger.

I am also on calibrate and my husband, a doctor, said the medicine is sound.

Sorry this is an old thread, but I just got an appointment with GW. what is it like? My doctor mentioned it to me after I complained about not being able to lose weight.
