IUI without drugs

Due to a prior existing condition, my RE has recommended IUI without drugs or just going straight to IVF. Anybody have any success with IUI this way or is it better to just go straight to IVF?

I guess it would depend on the existing condition. In general, an IUI does not add much to success rates, unless you have a known reason for needing IUI (hostile cervical mucous, certain male factors).
