The WISC is part of what is needed to get a complete picture. In our case, we were told to ignore the score because of how it broke down, but it was very helpful learning about DD.
DD ended up diagnosed with ADD and ASD (aspberger's). The reason why we were told not to take the numbers too seriously is she got fatigued, and we learned when she gets tired her working memory just goes away. (like 14th percent).
That helped us set up appropriate accommodations. And also helped her therapist tune the approaches for her.
